Akal Academy Muktsar is a Day Boarding English Medium Senior Secondary School being run under the ageis of Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib- an organisation which is catering to the needs of rural areas for providing Modern Scientific Education blended with Spirituality. Presently, Akal Academy Muktsar is serving more than 1800 students from 75 villages (the farthest village Kotli Ablu being 33.8 kms). The school owns a magnificent building fulfilling all the requirements of Teaching Learning Process as per C.B.S.E. norms and is one of the top schools of Distt Sri Muktsar Sahib in terms of infrastructure, C.B.S.E. results, facilities available and Provision of value based education. The Management comprises of Learned Educationists and veterans with a fervour of serving humanity and creating peaceful global citizens who can lead the nation to prosperity. Akal Academy Muktsar was established in 1986 under the aegis of Baba Iqbal Singh Ji, President of the Kalgidhar Trust Baru Sahib. It is a Secondary co-educational day boarding school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi (CBSE).
